November/December 2008

Aiden will be SIX months on Thanksgiving! The fifth month has been the biggest yet for milestones and growth, for sure! It feels as though I went to bed having a newborn and woke up the next day with a toddler! My gosh. Aiden is getting the hang of this crawling business really quickly, which is keeping us on our toes! We are planning out the big day of safety proofing the house, as he is getting around pretty good at this point. One of his new favorite things is to stand up and hang onto the couch, he laughs and smiles the entire time! Watch out for it, it seems to be extremely contagious! Aiden started eating solids! He has experienced the joy of taste and now, I cant seem to get the spoon into his mouth fast enough! We've gone through all the vegetables and now are half way through the fruits. Last night it was Prunes with Oatmeal, after a few initial sour faces & looks of confusion, he LOVED it. He is also getting the hang of the sippy cup, which could prove to be the cutest thing I have ever seen! He is still teething, but no toofers. Hopefully one will break through sooner than later. Poor baby. Soon enough, it will be elbow noodles & cheerios and then the fun really begins! We started trying to get a bit of art time in each day. Currently we are finger painting and what better than a Hand Turkey for Thanksgiving! It's been pretty interesting to say the least. He doesn’t quite get it, sometimes its fun and others, a chore. But its definatly fun for Momma, which means we will keep doing it! :) Many more updates to come!

About Me

My photo
On May 27th, 2008, I became a first time mommy to an amazing little monster, Aiden Alexander. Since that very day, my life has changed 100%- For the better. I was Lucky enough to have it happen twice, when Aiden became a big brother to Parker Elliot who was born 19 months later, on December 18, 2009. I now spend my days in intervals of playtime, feedings, diaper changes and learning. Each day is filled full of incredible moments in time and recipes for sentimental memories to one day look back and reflect on. I wouldn't change a thing!
